Half a day at the wheel in a workshop above the catacombs, with clay dug from the island and a kiln older than the potter.

Maria took the workshop on from her father in 1998 and has been making the same four shapes ever since, which is a discipline rather than a limitation. You get an afternoon, a wheel, and as much clay as you ruin.

Whatever survives is fired the following week and posted to you, anywhere, at our cost. About a third of what people make survives. She is honest about this at the start.
