Rooms and suites

Fourteen, no two alike

Fourteen keys across three terraces, six of them let as separate room types. No two have the same plan. The photographs are stock, taken in other houses on other islands, and stand in for the hotel's own.

A low bed in a white room, under the window

Syrma

From €240 a night

28 m², sea view, walk-in shower, sleeps 2

The lowest room in the house, level with the terrace, so the water is the first thing you hear and the last.

White room with sheer curtains moving in the doorway

Pigadi

From €260 a night

30 m², courtyard, the old well, sleeps 2

Built around the well the house drank from until 1968, and still the coolest room we have in August.

An iron bed and the window light on the wall

Fournos

From €280 a night

34 m², own terrace, the old bread oven, sleeps 2

The village oven was against this wall for eighty years, and the stone on that side is still a degree warmer than the rest.

Hand-plastered walls and a linen bed in morning light

Kamara

From €320 a night

36 m², vaulted ceiling, private terrace, sleeps 2

A barrel-vaulted room on the second terrace, with the arch the house is named for cut straight through the seaward wall.

Two botanical drawings on the wall above the bed

Perivoli

From €360 a night

40 m², garden terrace, sleeps 3

The one room that opens onto something green — the herb beds, the fig, and the lemon tree that came with the house.

A terrace view over a quiet bay, with houses on the far shore

Alkyon Suite

From €520 a night

52 m², plunge pool, two terraces, sleeps 3

The top of the house: two terraces, a plunge pool cut into the upper one, and nothing above it but the chapel.
